The Creative Shift is a working library of AI prompts, skills, and tools for designers. This page explains what data our website and browser extension collect, and what we do with it. The short version: we collect almost nothing, and we never sell or share what we do collect.
What the website collects
Our hosting provider keeps anonymous request logs (IP address, requested URL, timestamp) for operational purposes — security, abuse prevention, and diagnosing outages. We don't use these logs for tracking or profiling.
If you voluntarily subscribe to our weekly digest, we store your email address for that single purpose: sending you the digest. We never sell, share, or use your email for anything else. You can unsubscribe at any time — see “Data deletion” below.
What the browser extension collects
The extension doesn't transmit anything beyond ordinary API requests to our own service, made to fetch library content (prompts, skills, and tools) you ask for. There are no analytics beacons, no tracking pixels, and no requests to third parties.
Your preferences and an offline cache of library content are stored locally in your browser via the extension's storage — they never leave your device unless you explicitly copy or insert content into a page yourself.
Data deletion
To stop receiving the weekly digest, use the unsubscribe link in any digest email, or contact us directly and we'll remove your email address. To clear the extension's local cache and preferences, remove the extension from your browser or clear its storage from your browser's extension settings — this data lives only on your device.
